Side guide channels are used for the installation of door frames, designed as runners for insulated roller shutter door lath to move up and down in operation.
Our insualated side guide channels are manufactured in 2.0mm Hot Dipped Galvanised Steel to DX51 Z2 275g EN10346 :2009.
There are two types of insulated guide we offer, a windlock version and a straight version for standard endlocks. Both profiles are compatable for 95mm foam filled insulated lath and both twin skin insulated lath.
The wind lock and straight guide channels measure a depth of 82mm whether you require a straight ‘U’ channel guide for most standard applications or a windlock ‘T’ guide for larger applications or windy environments.
Both wind lock and staright guides are rolled with one rib running down the leg of the section to accept our rebated Twin Pile Guide Brush Strip system preventing the use of adheasive or tape. This helps prevent rattling noises from the shutter during operation.
