Founded by William Henry Bissell
Dudley Roll & Tool Ltd was a roll form machinery manufacturer set up by William Henry Bissell out of a small, humbling shed in Tipton.
Mr Bissell was known throughout the industry as ‘The Doctor’ because of his unrivaled precision and expertise in tool making.
After building up a workforce of incredible toolmakers his reputation grew quickly seeing him become nationally and internationally recognized.
Rolled Sections (Dudley) Ltd
Rolled Sections (Dudley) Ltd started with the desire to make the best cold rolled products on the market, creating a formidable partnership with engineers and technicians at Dudley Roll & Tool.
This relationship oversaw the installation of over 20 in-house ‘design and built’ custom roll forming lines, developing innovative products for the Construction, Industrial, Automotive and Security markets.
Both companies went from strength to strength supplying locally, nationally and international customers, as far as Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
West Mercia Sections Ltd
This saw the introduction of now managing director Robert Tuckey Snr who came on board to continue all the hard work and endeavor since its humble beginnings.
The year 1988 saw us expand our operations at Nicholls Road with the erection of a purpose-built facility boasting a large warehouse, over-head cranes, modern offices and renovated in-house tool room.
This saw the business grow further continuing to ship state of the art machinery and precesion rolled steel section worldwide as well as servicing local and national customers.
Erroll Wilson comes on board.
During this period the company looked to restructure and bring on board former colleague to Mr Bissell, Erroll Wilson.
Erroll struck up a tight friendship with Mr Bissell following their time with George Whitehouse Ltd in the early 1960’s as tool makers.
Erroll would then work along side Mr Bissell and son-in-law Robert Tuckey Snr as head of operations.
Robert Tuckey Jnr starts his Apprentership
Robert joined the team following his foundation Diploma in Art & Design, accredited by the University of the Arts London, UAL Awarding Body (UALAB).
Robert soon progressed to the role of Purchasing Assistant to Erroll Wilson in 2008, and then joining the main board in 2013.

The launch of this product further enhanced our industry leading range of roller shutter door lath to the UK market.
