Since its inception , West Mercia Sections, has always been fully self-sufficient when it comes to the design and development of tooling.
A wide range of complex sections are engineered using our CAD technology combined with the latest roll form engineering software. Our CAD operators are highly skilled and experienced, meaning you can guarantee excellent customer service in addition to our exceptional products.
Capabilities
With our state of the art in-house toolroom facility we can design, develop and manufacture new profiles in short lead times, allowing customers to get new products to market quickly and with confidence.
Highly specialised tooling steels are used in the manufacture of all our precision press tooling components and rollers, coupled with carefully controlled heat treatment to optimise the performance of every single individual part. This guarantees maximum longevity and optimal performance of our tooling within production.
